Taryn brings extensive clinical expertise and many years of dedicated experience to her work with patients across the lifespan. She is known for meeting patients exactly where they are—psychologically, emotionally, and relationally—while helping them feel supported, understood, and empowered in the therapeutic process. Taryn works collaboratively with each patient to better understand their unique circumstances, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical steps toward improved well-being, stronger relationships, and greater life satisfaction.

She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University in Clinical Social Work and has completed specialized training in trauma recovery, adoption and foster care, child-parent psychotherapy, and clinical issues relevant to the LGBTQ community. Her professional training also includes focused study in neuroscience, human development, attachment, and child-parent systems. This strong and well-rounded foundation supports her ability to work effectively with individuals and families at every developmental stage, from infancy through older adulthood.

Taryn’s professional experience includes partnering with one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations, where she helped develop a statewide clinical group with locations throughout Florida before transitioning into private practice. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to advancing high-quality clinical care, supporting the growth of the profession, and mentoring future social workers. She is a Qualified Supervisor for Florida Clinical Social Work Interns, provides guidance to social work students, and encourages emerging professionals who are pursuing careers in clinical social work.

Taryn is also actively involved in her local community and values opportunities to volunteer and stay connected. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys attending performing arts events and spending time with her family. A dedicated sports fan, she loves watching all types of sporting events—especially weekend trips to Tallahassee to cheer on her Florida State Seminoles. Go Noles!
