Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Air Force veteran, Army wife, mom to three great kiddos, and the founder of a local fashion boutique. She completed her bachelor's degree in Social Work at the University of Washington and her master's at Florida State University. Michelle has a great deal of experience in behavioral health counseling and management from the US Air Force as an active duty clinician and contracted civilian (at both Eglin AFB and Hurlburt AFB), work in a Georgia State hospital (in forensic and civil units), and in clinical supervision of a military Family Advocacy Center and Substance Abuse Clinic. Michelle works with adults and older teens using an integrated approach blending cognitive, behavioral, and humanistic therapies with her trauma-informed treatment experience. Outside of the office, Michelle loves sports (especially baseball), long-distance running, nature and its calming power, and gardening.
