Kelli Harrell, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
When we experience trauma or severe life stressors, it feels like our lives are unraveling and we feel overwhelmed, scared, and alone. Healing can begin when you experience being heard and understood with someone who is fully present. Kelli believes in the power of a therapeutic relationship, trust, respect, and guidance as you explore ways to navigate difficult emotions, relationships, circumstances, and traumas of life.
Kelli received her Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Development from Troy University. She is an EMDR Level II trained therapist who draws on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques when working with children, teens, and adults to adapt to the unique needs of each specific patient.
Kelli grew up in Michigan, raised her four children in Alabama, and has lived in Northwest Florida with her husband for eight years. She enjoys the beauty of the beach and the casual lifestyle of the area. She spends time on her bicycle, walking to the beach, playing with her Golden Retriever, and keeping up with her adult children/spouses and three grandchildren.
We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know. – Carl Rogers
