Our Patient Care Team is here to welcome you to our practice. They understand that starting psychotherapy can be a daunting undertaking and they are here to help make scheduling, insurance filing and managing your account as easy as possible. They will walk you through the process, help you find the provider, the specialty and the appointment time that meets your needs. They like to say, “the administrative office is where the magic happens, the therapy office is where miracles happen!”
Marnita, our Practice Manager, has spent her career in service to others. First, in the Air Force as an Administration Specialist, then as a Certified Dental Assistant, next as a Dental Assisting Instructor and now as our Practice Manager. She graduated from the University of West Florida with a Career and Technical Education degree. Coming from a large family of nine sisters and brothers, Marnita learned quickly to live by her “Three C’s of Life,” compassion, collaboration and communication and integrates this mindset into her professional approach. The twinkle in her eyes are there from her husband of almost 40 years, her two adult daughters and her beautiful grandbaby.
Dana, our Accounts Manager, and her family moved to the area by way of an Air Force assignment and decided to stay. She graduated from Troy University with a Computer Science degree and worked in that world for several years before life and family required more of her time. She tried to slow down, transitioning from Network Administrator to part-time Behavioral Health Insurance and Administrative Specialist and has remained in private practice accounts management for over ten years. Dana has been married for 30+ years to a retired Air Force Officer turned Financial Advisor. They enjoyed raising their two kids and now really love chasing around their spunky granddaughter.
Alyssa, our Appointments Manager, vacationed in the local area before making the move from her hometown in Kentucky to Florida. She has worked in the medical field as an administrative assistant and in patient care for over four years. She enjoys communicating and connecting with patients to assist them in navigating the practice. Outside of the office Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband and their fur-baby, Bailey, a sweet and energetic Pomeranian, going to the beach (because everyday can be a vacation now), and shoe shopping!
