Colleen completed her Masters degree in Counseling in 1997 at Eastern University. She is licensed in the state of Florida to provide Mental Health counseling to children and families and holds a Masters Level Addiction Professional Certification in the treatment of substance use disorders.

Her experience includes community outpatient mental health, drug and alcohol prevention education, and in-home counseling services. In tandem she was a consultant for Erie and Philadelphia area school districts assisting teachers, staff and students with challenging situations. She has served children and their families experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and depression.

As a counselor, Colleen spent more than 10 years as a consultant helping children and adolescents to become successful in their homes, schools and communities.  She has assisted schools through suicide intervention and the aftermath empowering communities to cope with the waves of effect from such tragedy.

Colleen has found that a team approach can empower both the child/adolescent & their parents or caregivers. As parents you know your child/adolescent better than anyone else. This information paired with Colleen’s professional experience can allow the child or adolescent to discover & use their strengths to address their emotional &/or behavioral concerns. No matter what crossroads you find yourself at, Colleen’s 20 years of experience coupled with your unique needs will build and strengthen your family relationships.

Patient Age Ranges:  Elders (65+), Adults (20-64), Teens (14-19), Pre-teens / Tweens (11-13), Children (5-12)
