Allison is a genuine, caring and engaged counselor whose goal is to help people navigate rough spots in life. She fosters hope and is sensitive to the needs of individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression or substance abuse, while promoting a harmonious climate in counseling.

Allison received her Master of Social Work Degree from Florida State University then entered the counseling arena with the Dependency and Child Welfare System and the Juvenile Justice System before shifting into private practice.  She is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Growing up with both parents serving in the Army, Allison brings an insightful perspective and personal understanding of the complexities in military families and the unique challenges that they encounter. She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and uses other evidence-based interventions to help children, teens and adults find effective ways to reach their goals.

Outside the counseling office, Allison enjoys serving on the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center’s Young Ambassador Board which includes spreading awareness, participating in community outreach events and assisting in fundraising for the non-profit organization. She also enjoys Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and traveling to food festivals.
