Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor
Child-Parent Psychotherapist
Adoption-Competent Therapist
** Clinicians are Independent Contracted Providers**
Taryn’s patients illustrate her as, “an energetic and empathetic therapist, who is sincere, relatable, and down to earth.” Taryn strives to meet her patients where they are psychologically, emotionally, and relationally, while helping them develop goals for achieving their desired levels of overall well-being.
She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University in Clinical Social Work and completed specialized training in trauma recovery, adoptions and foster-care, child parent-psychotherapy, and LGBTQ issues. Her clinical preparation also included neuroscience, human development, and child-parent systems which lends well to her collaborative approach in working with all ages (0-65+) and all developmental levels.
Taryn’s experience includes her partnership with one of the nation’s largest non-profit organizations, helping develop a state-wide clinical group with locations throughout Florida, and then transitioning into private practice. She is a Qualified Supervisor for Florida Clinical Social Work Interns, helps mentor social work students, and encourages others who desire to become clinical social workers.
Taryn is active in the local community, volunteers, and enjoys attending performing arts events. She’s a huge sports fan and loves watching all types of sporting events with her family, especially weekend trips to Tally to support her Seminoles! Go Noles!
Patient Age Ranges: Adults (20-64), Teens (14-19), Pre-teens / Tweens (11-13), Children (5-10), Pre-school / Toddlers (1-4)
