Sometimes we just need someone to hold hope for us when we feel hopeless and helpless….someone to help bear the burden of trauma, addiction, or living with anxiety and depression. If you’re looking for someone to walk a difficult part of life beside you as you seek health, stability, and strength, Amanda’s experience and compassion will serve you well.
Amanda completed her Master of Social Work degree at the University of West Florida and works with children, teens, and adults. She specializes in trauma recovery, substance abuse and recovery, depression, anxiety, and life adjustment issues. She is an EMDR Level II trained therapist and utilizes this and other therapeutic interventions to help her patients overcome personal obstacles.
Amanda grew up in Illinois but has enjoyed living in Florida for the past 10 years. Outside of the office she enjoys reading, participating in extra-curricular activities with her children, and coaching T-ball. Amanda is an active member of her church and volunteers there and in the community.
